A meeting of the Central Election Commission will be held today.
According to APA, the meeting will discuss the issue of verifying and finalizing the results of the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis.
The Central Election Commission shall submit the relevant documents to the Constitutional Court for approval of the results and outcomes of the elections within 24 hours of drawing up the protocol on the general results of the elections.
After receiving the relevant documents, the Constitutional Court will verify and approve the results of the Milli Majlis elections within 10 days (if the verification process requires it, this period may be extended).
