Firefighters in the capital are battling a large fire in western Moscow on Saturday evening, August 31. The fire broke out in an administrative building on Berezhkovskaya Embankment.

According to TASS, the cause of the fire was an electrical fault in the building.
“Preliminary reports indicate that the fire was caused by an electrical fault” — information is provided from the capital’s emergency services.
According to people who were in the building, there had been power cuts since morning, after which a fire broke out with smoke visible for many kilometres.
