Russian TV presenter Alexander Maslyakov has died at the age of 83.

“With great sadness, Alexander Vasilievich Maslyakov passed away on September 8, 2024. He was and will remain a legend for all participants of the KVN movement and for millions of viewers forever. Since 1964, he has been a part of the KVN program, welcomed and became a symbol of humor and satire in Russia and abroad,” the organization’s Telegram channel says.
It should be noted that Maslyakov received numerous awards, was a full-fledged cavalier of the Order “For Service to the Fatherland” and was the founder of the creative association “AMiK”.
“His contribution to the development of local entertainment television cannot be underestimated,” the report said.
