The match between the Israeli and French national teams took place at the Stade de France in the northern suburb of Paris Saint-Denis and ended in a 0-0 draw. It was classified as high risk and therefore reinforced security measures were taken.

Several dozen people took part in the combat, some of whom carried Israeli flags, writes L’Equipe. According to RMC Sport, 50 fans were involved in the fight. Law enforcement officers intervened in the situation and order was restored.

Before the game, left-wing politicians and activists organized a demonstration in the northern Paris suburb of Saint-Denis to protest the soccer match.

The meeting set a record of low attendance for the French team: only 16,611 spectators were present, including French President Emmanuel Macron, clarifies RBC.
