Palembang – The regional police of South Sumatra dismantled a network of sales of pornographic content, which was organized on social networks. Of the three suspects, two of them are fathers and children who sell porn videos for personal benefits.
Three suspects are Mulyadi (35), his son Lo Adi Pratam (20) and their colleague Buda Sartono (28). From this forbidden business, they made three profit to RP. 70 million in one year.
Kasubdit V Siber DitreSkrimsus South Sumatra Regional Police AKBP DWI UTOMO explained that each offender plays a different role. The mode used offers paid sexual services through social networks with two options for video recordings of naked and masturbating women, as well as sexual services.
“For naked and masturbating videos, criminals sell one file for RP. 200 thousand. While sex in the video calls is charged 15 thousand RP150, ”said AKBP DWI UTOMO.
The fraud method is more cunning when criminals use two mobile phones for disguised video call services. One mobile phone is used to play women’s videos, while the second mobile phone is used for video calls with victims. The camera is aimed at the first screen of the mobile phone, creating the illusion, as if the victim interacted directly with women in the video.
