The National Police arrested three men from the same family for stabbing a 51-year-old woman this Monday in the city of Alicante. The investigation remains open for to know if it was the father or the children who attacked their mother in broad daylight on a square
After the attack suffered in the popular square of the Pla neighborhood, the victim was urgently admitted to the General Hospital Doctor Balmis in Alicante. As reported by Efe, despite the injury caused by a single stab wound, his life is not in danger.
The violent crimes unit of the provincial police station took charge of the investigation and this Tuesday police sources confirmed to EL ESPAÑOL that The three men were arrested because of that.
Police sources specify that The 47-year-old inmate is the victim’s ex-husband and for this reason he is accused, in addition to attempted murder, of the crime of gender-based violence.
The other two detainees are the couple’s children, aged 20 and 21and who are also accused of the first of the charges. At the moment, as these same sources indicate, it is not known which of the three was responsible for the knife attack. All are of Spanish nationality.
