The father of two girls aged 6 and 8. who went to a supermarket half naked in Palencia buying food is deadfor natural causes, as confirmed by official sources from Castilla y León in statements to EL ESPAÑOL.
It was last February 14, 2024, when the National Police of Palencia arrested a couple, after the manager of a supermarket informed the officers. that two girls, aged 6 and 8, daughters of those arrested, had presented themselves at the establishment half-naked and unsupervised to buy food.
Certain events that occurred on the morning of Saturday February 10, according to police sources, when the store manager notified the National Police who were on site.
Once there, the minors were taken care of by employees of the establishment and after verification of their status “dirt, abandonment and semi-nudity” were taken to the police station to continue the procedures.
Officers were able to locate the girls’ home and went to the location. On site, and as the same sources indicate, the house was in a “state of absolute unsanitary conditions, dirt and garbage” causing “the appearance of insects”.
Inside was the father who was initially detained for an alleged crime of child abandonment, but was eventually released on medical grounds. The mother was arrested on Sunday February 11. He was brought before a court, which ordered his release with the charges against him.
The minors were left at the disposal of Social Services.
