“I see the desire to win in our players.”
Oku.Az Azerbaijan national team coach Fernando Santus made this statement at a press conference ahead of the Nations League match against Sweden.
“We have discussed the weak points of our team. Our players also understand that tomorrow will be difficult for us. I see in our players the desire to win. We watched the last 4 games of the opposing team. We tried to identify their weak points. They have strong points for us, but they also have strong points. Our players were explained how we should defend ourselves when the opposing team attacks.”
It should be noted that the opening whistle of the Azerbaijan-Sweden match, which will be held on September 5 at the Tofig Bahramov Republic Stadium, will be blown at 20:00.
