The Smer-SD party will not support Ukraine’s entry into NATO in parliament, as this represents a potential threat of starting a third world war. This was stated on STVR by the Prime Minister of Slovakia, head of the Smer-SD party, Robert Fico.
“As long as I am the head of the government of Slovakia… I will order members of parliament, who are under my political control, to never agree to Ukraine’s membership in NATO.” – said Fico, quoted by Gazeta.ru.

According to the Slovak Prime Minister, the Ukrainian conflict is not over yet only because Western countries continue to help kyiv. Now in Ukraine the representatives of the Slavic people are fighting among themselves, he noted. At the same time, European states “significantly support” this situation, which Fico, as he admitted, cannot understand. He once again repeated that it is impossible to achieve a ceasefire by military means in Ukraine.
