The last mass combat between gangs of young Latin Americans took place last Thursday September 26 in Salvador Allende Square in Badalona, as confirmed by the Mossos d’Esquadra and evidenced by the video published by Vox Badalona.
In the images you can see how around twenty young people armed with machetes, knives and sticks confront each other in a gigantic gang fight in the square of the Llefiá neighborhood. The participants found themselves in the square where they had come armed with machetes, and soon the insults gave way to the use of knives.
Alerted by the neighborhood, the Mossos d’Esquadra They went to the scene but found no one injured, nor anyone wishing to file a complaint regarding the fight between gangs. The Mossos administratively denounced one of the young people for carrying a knife. Police sources confirm that no arrests have been made for participation in the violent events.

The “dagger plan”
The increase in stabbing attacks in Catalonia led in 2023 to the implementation of the so-called “Dagger Plan”, now renewed with new random checks to remove knives from the streets.
In total, last week almost a thousand checks were carried out in Catalonia, between Mossos, Local Police and National Police, during which a total of 336 knives and dangerous objects were seized.
