The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia about the damage to the fence of the country’s diplomatic mission in Moscow.
Oku.Az reports that, as reported by the Finnish ambassador to Russia, Marja Liivala, to the STT agency, on Friday the words “The Åland Islands are ours” were written on the fence of the diplomatic mission in Swedish and eggs were thrown on the territory of the embassy.
Liivala said police quickly arrested five attackers. According to published photographs, the inscription occupies at least a third of the brick fence.
According to the ambassador, the Finnish Foreign Ministry sent a note to the Russian Foreign Ministry in this regard.
