A fire broke out in Tovuz.
According to “Unikal”, the incident occurred in the village of Bozalganli in the region. The fire covered an area of about two hectares on the territory of the village cemetery. Since the houses in the village are close to the cemetery, four fire trucks and personnel from the Tovuz Fire Protection Unit were called to the scene to prevent the fire from spreading to the houses. An emergency medical team also arrived at the scene.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The fire was completely extinguished, preventing it from spreading to nearby homes. Some old tombstones in the cemetery were partially damaged.
The incident is being investigated.
