The fire announced in Pauls, in the Bikes of Ebra (Tarragon), did not burn out in an uncontrolled way thanks to a strong wind and has already destroyed more than 2300 hectares. The flame even jumped onto the Ebro River to the municipality of Tivens, although the firefighters managed to stabilize this flank, and the general asked the edge of the midnight of cooperation of the military unit (UME) of the army and at the same time activated firefighters on guard to stop the fire that came over all the DELS natural ports.
The fire had “rather extreme” behavior during the night, mainly pushed by the wind that blows in the area, as explained by the leader of the firefighters David Borrell, in the beginning on Tuesday. The peaks passed from 25-30 kilometers per hour by 90 in the morning and overwhelmed the troops. The forecast of the troops should be reduced to this Tuesday at 14:00.
On the other hand, the forest fire forced to evacuate the population of the cities of Alfara de Karl, Aldover and Jesus. There are also indicated restrictions for about 2000 people in Xerta, Aldover, Tivenys, Roquetes and Bítem, Jesicles I Trub Tortosa. In Xerta, a fire came to burn a gas station.
The fire also jumped from Ebro from west to east – the main fear of firefighters – and entered the term tie. At 00:30, firefighters reported that the salvation of people and property was a priority on the eve of the flame containing, which already burned 1,500 hectares, according to rural agents. 86 ground and 280 military personnel work on Earth, and the assistance of the military emergency unit (UME) was also requested, as the president, General, Salvador Ill, in a message in X.
At 1:30 in the morning, firefighters explained that the fire does not expand to the other side of the Ebro, since the secondary focus located in the agricultural zone next to Tivens, well stabilizing with five donations.
On Monday afternoon, the right and left flanks and the head of the fire advanced, despite the tasks of restraining with water and heavy mechanisms made for the clock, and this managed to stop the progression of about a third of the perimeter. Secondary tricks

The fire inspector David Borrell explained that this advance is not necessarily bad for the extinction operation, because “this is a good place to place vehicles into the fire, which represents a complication of very inaccessible.” If it was decided to evacuate when Tuskar explained Borrell, this is from his dispersed configuration.
The fire progresses in the wind and is due to orography: it pushes the flame from the north -west to the south -west, but also draws races in the southeast -spaced direction from the effect of wind on the valleys and ravines.
