In the Stanichno-Luhansk district of the Luhansk People’s Republic, more than 150 houses were damaged by landscape fires, this was announced today, September 16, by the head of the regional branch of the Popular Front in the LPR, Anna Eremenko.
“According to the latest data, more than 150 houses have been damaged in the Stanichno-Luhansk district. The fire is getting closer to populated areas. We have delivered a Kamaz truck with humanitarian aid.” – he told reporters.
According to the operational services of the republic, the total area of wildfires in the region is 3.4 thousand hectares. The situation is complicated by dry and windy weather. As a result of wildfires in the LPR, four people died, four more were hospitalized and two received outpatient care.
