This Tuesday, the Hydrographic Confederation of the Ebro (CHA) has issued an alert for flash floods in canals and ravines, based on AEMET forecasts, which predict intense rains, which could affect five regions of Teruel.
In this sense, there is an orange warning for rains that could reach 100 liters per meter square in 12 hours in Lower Aragon and in the ravines of Ports of Beceite And 60 liters per square meter in 1 hour in the southeast quadrant of the basin. The warning is also red in the province of Tarragona, at the mouth of the Ebro.
Given these forecasts, the emergency services of the Community of Aragon received the alert regarding the possibility of heavy rainfall that could cause flash floods in the province of Teruel. It is for this reason that from the Aragón 112 Emergency Center the population is recommended not to approach the orange warning due to rain.
This cold drop arrives accompanied by a notable drop temperatures and strong gusts of wind from the north and northwest, particularly visible in Zaragoza.
Regarding the Aragonese troops moved to Catarroja, the most worrying thing at the moment is that there will be traffic jams with mud given the possible fall of intense rains over the next few hours in this area. This is why, in the province of Valencia, the population has been advised not to pour mud into the sewers or onto public roads to avoid collapses due to rain.
