As part of the Polaris Dawn mission, two crew members of the reusable Crew Dragon spacecraft will walk into outer space on September 12, SpaceX announced on its social media page X.
This is said to be the first private spacewalk by non-professional astronauts in history, and will be carried out by a multi-millionaire investor. Jared Isaacman and SpaceX engineer Sara Gillies.

Earlier on September 10, the Falcon 9 launch vehicle carrying the Crew Dragon capsule and a four-person crew for the Polaris Dawn mission took place at Launch Complex 39A of the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral in Florida.
