Within the framework of COP29, foreign journalists in Azerbaijan learned about historical, cultural and rare exhibitions in Baku on November 15.
Oku.Az reports that representatives of foreign media visited the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan for the first time with the joint organization of the Media Development Agency and the COP29 Operating Company.
Foreign journalists got a close look at the museum’s exhibition, various archaeological and ethnographic materials and objects.
Subsequently, representatives of foreign media at the Heydar Aliyev Center received detailed information about the Center’s activities. Guests who learned about the “Pearls of Azerbaijan” exhibition were told that rare objects related to natural resources, centuries-old history and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan are exhibited here.
In the end, Icherisheher was visited, surrounded by walls dating back to the 12th century, rich in oriental architecture and history, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Here journalists received extensive information about the ancient streets and monuments of the Old City, including the Maiden’s Castle, which is distinguished by its unusual architectural features, and the Shirvanshahs Palace Complex, which occupies an important place among historical buildings from Baku.
