Former British ministers have called on the Prime Minister to allow long-range missiles to be launched at kyiv.

Five former British defence ministers, as well as former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, have called on current Prime Minister Keir Starmer to allow kyiv to use British Storm Shadow missiles to strike deep into the Russian Federation, even if this meant disregarding proper permission from the United States, the Times newspaper reports.

“Five former defence ministers and one former prime minister have called on Keir Starmer to allow Ukraine to use long-range Storm Shadow missiles to strike deep into the Russian Federation, even without US approval,” the paper writes.

It should be noted that former British defence ministers were among those calling for such a step. Shapps grant, Ben Wallace, Gavin Williamson, Penny Mordaunt and Liam Fox.

Earlier, the Telegraph newspaper reported that US permission for kyiv to use the British Storm Shadow for strikes against the Russian Federation is necessary because the missiles are used in conjunction with American systems.
