Former IDP: “I’m returning to Shusha, where I left when I was 30, when I was 65”

“I’m returning to Shusha, where I left when I was 30, at 65.”

This to Oxu.Az In his statement, a former internally displaced person who moved to Shusha today Gultekin Karimova saying.

He pointed out that today the feeling of joy is mixed with the feeling of sadness:

“I worked as a teacher in Shusha. We lived our displaced lives in a boarding house located in the Bilgah settlement in Baku.

I am happy to return to my homeland, I am sad because we have lost our relatives and given martyrs during these years. Our relatives died with the desire to see Shusha.

We thank our Commander in Chief and our victorious Army for making these days possible. May God have mercy on our martyrs and give good health to our veterans!

It should be noted that today the next migrant caravan is leaving for the city of Shusha. At this stage, another 30 families (102 people) are being taken to their homeland.

It should be noted that 177 families (672 people) have settled permanently in the city of Shusha.
