Former Secretary of Equality speaks of “Cosa Nostra” after PSOE veto in Castilla y León primaries

Andrea FernándezPSOE deputy from León in Congress and former equality secretary of Pedro Sánchez’s executive, expressed this Saturday “all” her “support” to the secretary of the party in Castilla y León, Luis Tudancataking into account the decision of the Commission of Ethics and Guarantees of Ferraz to suspend the primary process and the regional congress. He did this in a message on social networks where he called on the device to move away from mafia practices.

In his official profile, Fernández said: “All my support. It is unacceptable for the interpretation of a rule to vary according to needs. It is unacceptable that what are described in other cases as “mud machines” are used to impose a story. “We do not want a PSOE serving the Castilian and Leonese Cosa Nostra.”he condemned.

The parliamentary spokesperson of the PP in the Congress of Deputies reacted to these remarks: Miguel Telladoin this way: “National MP of the PSOE pointing the finger at the mafia that exists in her party. Very good, Pedro, very good…”, Tellado also wrote on the networks.

After that, Fernández responded to Tellado not to use him for his “garbage politics,” adding: “The mafia that I am referring to is precisely the media “that the PP is supported and supported in Castilla y León, guaranteeing a corrupt status quo”, according to Eph.

In addition to Fernández, the organizational secretary of the PSOE of Castilla y León, Ana Sanchezwhich he described as “absurdity” the suspension of the primary process and demanded “respect” for this socialist federation. Tudanca himself sent a statement on Friday evening in which he indicates that he respects the decision of the Ethics and Guarantees Commission but does not share it. Fernández broadcast this statement on his networks.

It turns out that Ferraz’s Ethics and Guarantees Commission has established that regional party congresses and primaries must take place after the Federal Congress, scheduled for November 29 to December 1 in Seville.

On the other hand, the PSOE of Castilla y León defends that the statutes say that only the regional congresses – they say nothing about the primaries – take place after the federal congress. Since that of Castilla y León is called for January 25 and 26they understand that they are fully compliant with the regulations.

“Reasonable”

For his part, the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, the socialist Felix Bolanosaligned with Ferraz’s decision to cancel the convening of said congress and stressed that now is “the time” for the Federal Congress, which will be held in November, considering that the decision of the federal leadership is “reasonable” .

To questions from the media before participating in the closing of the La Toja Forum, Bolaños reiterated that “it is time to choose the leadership” and “of the party at the federal level”, in addition to “talking about the challenges, the policies, the horizons that the PSOE has in the future to continue building Spain.

“The federal leadership has made a reasonable decision, namely that the territorial congresses will take place later. It is time to talk about the PSOE; “It will be time to talk about federations at the territorial and regional level,” underlined the socialist.

In the same spirit, the Minister of Digital Transformation and Civil Service of Spain, Oscar Lopezapproved the cancellation of the convocation to the autonomous congress of the PSOE of Castilla y León, arguing that “the competent body is the Federal Executive and has resolved”.

This is how López, former secretary general of the PSOE of this community, spoke within the framework of the Rose Festival of the Socialist Party of Laciana (León). The minister did not share what Tudanca expressed, who defended that there was “nothing in the regulations that expressly prevents this call” to the primaries.

Likewise, the provincial secretary of the PSOE of León, Javier Alfonso Cendóndefended that the cancellation decision is “a correct assessment” and that “the party must look after the interests of the organization”.
