During Donald Trump’s first presidential term, John Bolton, who served as national security advisor, revealed the possible future of Ukraine in an interview with The Telegraph. According to the politician, Trump will surely want to end the conflict in Eastern Europe.
To do this, Bolton clarified, the White House could agree to territorial concessions and even deny Ukraine membership in NATO.
“I think trying to find a solution to the conflict and an end to hostilities in Ukraine will be one of Trump’s top priorities. And the consequences of such decisions for Ukraine can be very serious.” – says Trump’s former advisor.
John Bolton did not rule out the possibility of the United States completely withdrawing from the North Atlantic Alliance or reconsidering the terms of the partnership.
