These words were spoken by Formula 1 expert and commentator Siyavush Aliyev in his statement to AZERTAC regarding the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which will be held in Baku for the eighth time.
He said that the contest held in our capital has specific characteristics:
“As it’s a street track, a small mistake will put the driver out of the race. But if you make a mistake in other areas, you can expect something. Normally, drivers who are new to the track can face difficulties. But beyond that, everything will be fine. Another difficult issue is the long straights and the 90s. This creates a certain problem for engineers and mechanics, because it’s difficult to keep the balance.”
According to Siyavush Aliyev, the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix increases the country’s tourism potential:
“As you know, this race attracts more than 1.5 billion spectators. This imposes great obligations on Azerbaijan. “Formula 1” and some cycling races are sports designed for the development of tourism. “Formula 1″ can be mentioned, for example, that Sergio Perez from Mexico, Daniel Ricciardo from Australia and Lewis Hamilton from England won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which increased the interest of these countries in Baku.”
It is worth noting that the Azerbaijan Grand Prix “Formula 1” will be held on September 13-15.
