Four people, including a minor, were affected by smoke inhalation during the fire in an apartment that occurred this morning in Jaén, as reported by the Emergency Coordination Center (Cecem) 112.
Calls from several witnesses to telephone 112 alerted a few minutes after one of the fires in a fifth floor of a property located on Almodóvar Street.
Immediately, the coordination room activated the firefighters, the National Police, the Local Police and the Health Emergency Center.
The emergency operation deployed on site confirmed that four people had to be treated and evacuated due to smoke inhalation: a 44-year-old woman, two boys aged 21 and 22 and a 14-year-old minor.
Health workers took them to the Neurotrauma Hospital and Surgical Doctor of the capital; Furthermore, a the dog died in the accident.
The residents of the building were evacuated preventively during the emergency intervention, leaving the property burned to the ground.
