A four year old boy died due to building collapse next to the river in the Valencian municipality of Sot de Chera (Valencia). The minor’s father is missing.
According to Las Provincias, the child and his father were looking out the window when the building collapsed under the force of the flood.
The family’s mother and other daughter were also inside the property, but were not injured.
The boy’s body has been found, while the search for his father continues.
In this municipality in the Utiel-Requena region, it was flooded by the waters of the Sot river, a tributary of the Turia, and which, due to the ravages of the DANA, saw its flow increase rapidly and exponentially.
