Today four years have passed since the second rocket attack by Armenians on Ganja during the Patriotic War.

Oku.Az recalls that on October 5, 2020, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan disseminated information about the impact of a rocket in Ganja.

At around 9:00 p.m., a rocket launched from the territory of Armenia fell near the “Grand Qafqaz” shopping complex in Ganja, and the building was completely unusable due to the impact of the explosion.

On the same day, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan reported that on October 5, 2020, at around 9:00 p.m., the armed forces of Armenia fired heavy artillery and artillery shells at several areas from the city of Ganja. . As a result of the decisive measures of our army, as a result of the prevention of terrorist attempts by the armed forces of Armenia, there were no injuries among the civilian population and no damage to civilian infrastructure facilities.

It should be noted that during the Second Karabakh War, the Armenian armed forces attacked the city of Ganja five times (October 4, 5, 8, 11, 17) with rockets and heavy artillery. As a result, 26 people died, 175 were injured, civilian infrastructure located in the city and vehicles were seriously damaged.
