“France will continue defence and security cooperation with Armenia.”
Oku.Az This was reported by French Foreign Minister Stéphane Sejourne during a joint briefing with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan, according to Sputnik Armenia.
At the same time, the diplomat stressed that defense cooperation between the two countries is not aimed at increasing tensions in the region.
It should be noted that Yerevan and Paris have previously signed several agreements on military and technical equipment.
France will supply Armenia with Caesar self-propelled howitzer, radars, armored vehicles and anti-aircraft missile systems.
