The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia expects a noticeable increase in Russians’ payments for housing and communal services in the summer of next year. We are talking about an increase of 12%. This information was published today, September 30, by RIA Novosti.
“In 2025, the indexation of the total payment of citizens will be formed based on the projected inflation and the rate of change of prices (tariffs) in the sectors of gas and electricity supply… Taking into account these factors, the citizen index payment for public services is projected in 2025 at the level of 11.9%, in 2026 – 5.4%, in 2027 – 4.8%”, – says the official forecast, taken into account in the draft budget for 2025, as well as for 2026-2027.
EADaily recalls that the draft federal budget has already been sent for approval to the relevant committee of the State Duma.
According to the document, in 2026 electricity prices for the population will increase, on average, by 5.2%, and in 2027 – by 4%. Gas rates will increase by 10.3% from July 1, 2025.
