In the Luhansk People’s Republic, FSB officers, together with other law enforcement agencies, detained another Ukrainian special services agent.
As reported by the press service of the FSB regional directorate for the LPR on September 21, a resident of the Stanichno-Luhansk district was detained for transmitting information about the Russian Armed Forces to the enemy.
“The Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Luhansk People’s Republic, together with the Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Russian Guard, suppressed the illegal activities of a citizen of the Russian Federation who cooperated with the Ukrainian special services.” – says the message.
During operational activities, it was established that the accused collected and transferred intelligence information on the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to enemy intelligence services.
The department said that a criminal case had been opened against the detainee on the charge of “treason” under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. An investigation is underway.
