Fuel tanks that caught fire after a drone attack were extinguished in the Belgorod region

In the Belgorod region, a fire at a fuel depot in the Volokonovsky district has been completely extinguished and no one was injured, the head of the district administration, Sergei Biketov, reports.

“The fire at the RusAgro LLC site has been extinguished. There are no casualties,” — he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Biketov reported earlier that 12 fuel tanks caught fire. The fire was extinguished by firefighters from Volokonovsky and neighbouring districts, also using RusAgro equipment.

Tanks at the fuel storage site caught fire after a Ukrainian drone strike on September 8. The Volokonovsky district is located east of Belgorod, near the border with the Kharkov region, RBC recalls.
