During the conversation, I stressed the firm position of our team and all residents of the Gagauz Autonomous Region on the need to restore historical and mutually beneficial relations with the Russian Federation. Taking this opportunity, I expressed my gratitude to the Russian leadership for the assistance provided to Gagauzia in solving socio-economic problems and implementing important humanitarian projects in the region.” — Hutsul wrote on his Telegram channel.
As reported EADaily Today in St. Petersburg, the head of Gagauzia met with the Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia. Valentina Matvienko and Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglovwith which it signed a cooperation plan for 2024-2028 in the commercial, economic, scientific, technical and cultural fields.
