It is increasingly common to find wild boars in villages and urban areas, which worries its residents. This is why certain autonomous communities, such as Galiciathey take action. Since this Saturday,Xunta will allow unlimited hunting of these animalss wild in order to control the number of specimens in the region.
The organization has declared since this Saturday the hunting emergencyThus, 260 Galician municipalities, which represent 85% of the community’s territory, will authorize hunting without time or specimen limits. This is the fourth time that this measure has been applied, which will be valid until next February.
The objective is reduce the wild boar population who live in Galician lands and who causes real damage to crops. In addition, they represent a danger for driving, since they are increasingly present in urban areas.
