Galicia finalizes the sending of an aid operation to Valencia

La Xunta centralize and coordinate the dispatch of professionals and emergency resources to assist those affected by DANA, in Levante, which are carried out from Galicia and which are requested by the Valencian Emergency Coordination Center. It will be managed by 112 Galicia –which is “in permanent contact” with its counterpart in Valencia–, which will monitor the means available to the different administrations and organizations, and will transfer this data to the Valencian Community and the National Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Emergencies. The first shipment is expected to be made between today and tomorrow, in response to a media request received in the early hours of this Saturday.

This was stated by the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Sports, Diego Calvo; after meeting by video call with his partner and holder of the Medio Rural portfolio, María José Gómez; with representatives of the Government Delegation in Galicia, the Galician Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (Fegamp) and the four provincial councils, as well as those responsible for the different emergency services – regional, provincial and local -.
