The members of the network who wanted to organize the sale of a large quantity of narcotics smuggled into the country by delivering them to the city of Baku were exposed. During the operational activities held in the Yardimli district, 60 kilograms of narcotic drugs were detected and removed from illegal circulation.

It was reported that 38-year-old Ruslan Novruzov, suspected of illegal trafficking of a large amount of drugs, was detained by operational measures of the Yardimli District Police Department. During the inspection of the cargo area of his car, 60 kilograms of marijuana were found. Investigations have shown that R. Novruzov planned to deliver his car with a large amount of drugs in the cargo area to the capital area on the platform of a crane. Ramil Farziyev, Parviz Miranov and their relative Hojjat Miranov, who collaborated with this person in the smuggling and circulation of narcotics in the country, were also detained by police officers.
A criminal case has been initiated in relation to the incident and preventive arrest measures have been adopted for those detained by judicial decision.
