At least 20 Palestinians were killed on Wednesday during a trace in the food distribution zone, a controlled organization supported by Israel and the USA in Gaza.
For the first time, the group recognized the deadly incident in its operation, despite the reports that Israeli soldiers opened fire on the Palestinians who were in line many times.
Gas Humanitarian Fund (GHF) reports that 19 people were trampled in the crowd, and one person was mortally wounded in the center working in the southern city of Khan Yunes.
The organization accused Hamas of promoting a panic and the spread of misinformation, which led to violence, but did not give any evidence in support of these accusations.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza, controlled by Hamas and witnesses, said that the organization’s employees used tear gas against the crowd, stimulating panic.
Palestinians in the Khan Yunes area also say that grenades clicking flash and pepper were used in many people who gathered.
Dozens of others were injured and delivered to nearby hospitals.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza says that this is the first time people were killed in the field of assistance.
