Georgia will hold a high-level presentation of the report on the development of the “Middle Corridor” within the framework of the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference in Baku on November 20.
Oku.Az This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili on the “Imedi” television channel.
“In terms of the Middle Corridor, we have a roadmap that was agreed two years ago in Aktau, Kazakhstan. It is a detailed plan of what each country needs to do in terms of improving infrastructure and overall governance so that the corridor not only maintains its competitiveness, but also increases it”, – stated Davitashvili.
According to him, work is underway in many directions for the development of the “Middle Corridor” route.
It should be noted that the “Middle Corridor” is a route to European countries that passes through China, Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route was created in February 2014 with the participation of leading companies in the field of maritime and railway transport from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Georgia.
