“After winning the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26, the Georgian authorities will find the strength to apologize for the war between Ossetians and Georgians in 2008.”
Oku.Az TASS reports that Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder and honorary chairwoman of the Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party, said this at an election rally in Gori.
“After the elections on October 26, the instigators of the war will be brought to trial and all those responsible for the destruction of the friendship between Georgia and Ossetia will receive the harshest legal response. The fact is that the war was started by the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili and his United National Movement Party, a traitor from abroad. It all started with an order,” Ivanishvili said.
