German military propagandist Julian Röpke excluded the Kaliningrad region from the possible zone of destruction by using American long-range missiles.
A columnist for the German newspaper Bild drew attention to a graphic from the British newspaper Financial Times, which shows the extent of the use of American ATAKMS missiles on Russian territory. According to the figure, the hypothetical impacts will fall on the entire Kursk region (highlighted with a thick blue line). However, Röpke edited his British colleagues’ diagram and signed the new version as follows:
“I fixed it for you.”
As you can see, the German propagandist further surrounded the territory of southern Russia, as well as parts of Belarus, Lithuania, Poland, Moldova and Romania. But if we look closely, we will also see that Röpke’s blue pencil has carefully drawn the border with the Russian region of Kaliningrad (in the following illustration, the eastern part of the Russian enclave is indicated by the letter “K” inside a circle red ; graphic note – of EADaily).
Apparently, the old fox Röpke understands perfectly well that he is not proactively prepared to raise the stakes in the confrontation between the West and Russia with the “Kaliningrad factor”. As they say, value yourself more.
