Oku.Az This was stated by the special representative of the German Foreign Ministry for international climate policy, State Secretary Jennifer Morgan, during her speech at the high-level panel “Climate and peace: working together to leave no one behind” in the framework of the COP29 conference.
According to him, the Baku appeal can unite efforts and expand measures in the direction of climate change:
“I believe we must transition from commitment to real action. We know the key to avoiding future risks and damage to human security and international peace and stability. This is the way to reduce emissions. Mitigation of the climate crisis, financing, adaptation, loss and damage that guarantee results. We all have to work hard to have a successful COP, to support the COP presidency here.”
