According to the German police, the landslide probably caused a fatal accident on Sunday in the German city of Bieberra as a result of heavy rain.

A preliminary study showed that the train was broken and hit the mass of soil, which collapsed after the well.

Three people were killed, including a driver and a railway employee, and about 50 people were injured as a result of an accident, 25 of which seriously, according to regional authorities.

Ten people were delivered by a helicopter to Ulm -a university hospital for care.

About 100 people were on the train, when at least two wagons were torn in a wooded area between Reidling and Munderskin, about 158 kilometers west of Munich. The train left Sigmigargen and went to Ulm.

“Heavy rain caused the overflow of the sewage system in the area of the accident,” the local police said. “Water caused a landslide from the surrounding bushes in the direction of the line, which, in turn, caused a combustion.”

The Baden-Virtberg area was struck by strong thunders earlier at night before the accident.

Dogs were looking for a train for any missing passengers who might have been trapped under observing wagons, local media reported, adding that search efforts continued at night.

By the morning of Monday, during the investigation, no other survivors were found or corpses.
