Global Media Group has joined the international environmental action.
Oku.Az informs that “Global Media Group” and its constituent entities – “Global Management”, Oku.AzBaku TV, Baku.ws, the “Report” news agency, the Azerbaijani and Russian editorial staff of the “Kaspi” newspaper, the “Coca-Cola” Media.Az organization, and the participation of the private sector, state institutions, non-governmental organizations and volunteers of the country, within the framework of the Coastal Cleanup Day, joined the environmental action held on September 21 on Novkhani beach under the motto “Let’s protect the Caspian”.
International Coastal Cleanup Day, held around the world every year in September, is one of the largest global environmental movements to clean up the coasts of bodies of water.
“At a time when we are faced with such problems as climate change, environmental pollution and rapid depletion of natural resources, we are aware of the need to take proactive measures at all levels. As Global Media Group, we combine our responsibilities in the business world with environmental awareness and integrate our sustainability policies into every step we take. Together, with our employees, we are making our contribution to nature protection by cleaning the shores of the Caspian Sea, raising awareness for a cleaner and healthier future,” said Rovshan Nizamov, member of the board of directors of “Global Media Group”.
