Gorlovka administrative building caught fire after drone attack

The Gorlovka administration building in the DPR caught fire after an attack by at least three kamikaze drones at once, an RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

The fire occurred on the fourth and fifth floors of the building. At least three traces of drone impacts were left on the façade: two of them hit the walls of the fifth floor and another flew towards a window at the back of the building. At the scene of the incident, characteristic fragments of the drones used were found: batteries and blades.

The explosion swept furniture and archival documents onto the street. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished the fire.

Previously, the Ukrainian army had already attacked the Gorlovka administration three times a day with a kamikaze drone, but then suffered only minor damage.

Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical company and coal mining companies. This is one of the largest settlements in the DPR; Before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of the city amounted to more than 250 thousand people.
