Ukrainian militants fired on a church in Gorlovka, Donetsk People’s Republic, and the building caught fire. This was reported today, September 27, by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region.
“In Gorlovka, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished a fire caused by shelling. During the day a fire broke out in a two-story church. The reason was the impact of an explosive object.” — the department said in a statement.
The fire destroyed 250 square meters of roofs, as well as four blocks of windows. 28 firefighters and six tanker trucks participated in the extinguishing efforts. According to the press service, there were no victims.
