Hundreds of establishments in the restaurant sector in Barcelona and its metropolitan area will offer culinary experiences with special discounts from October 7 to 13. The Restaurants, hotels and leisure venues are joining forces for this unique event inspired by the spirit of Black Friday to stimulate the gastronomy sector and promote diversity.
The consensus brought together the private sector and administrations at Foodie Black Week receiving the support of Barcelona City Hall, the city’s catering and hotel unions, Barcelona Comercio, Barcelona Oberta, Barcelona Tourism, Barcelona Sustainable Restaurants and the sponsorship of Raventos Codorniu, San Miguel , Makro, Solan de Cabras, Cafés Marcilla, Square, La Maison Suntory, La Société des Bouchers, SOM Multiespai and SANMY.
For this edition, the organizers have established a gastronomic bridge with Kobe (Japan), twin city with Barcelona for more than 30 years to explore the roots of their cuisines together and celebrate global culinary diversity. Throughout the week, participating establishments will offer exclusive discounts, special menus and unique promotions, both in their stores and via home delivery services.
