Immigration to the CIS

Immigration has become the main problem for the Spanish. This is what the latest barometer from the Sociological Research Center (CIS) of José Luis Tezanos determined.

In just three months, immigration went from occupation status sixth place of the concerns of the Spaniards of the CIS to place themselves in the first with 30.4% above other problems like housing or unemployment.

In the September barometer, respondents place “the political problems in general” with 20.6%, i.e. unemployment the third problem with 20.1%. These problems are followed by economic crisiswith 19.8%, the inequalitieswith 16.1% and the accommodationwith 15.4%.

Regarding the question “what is the problem that affects them most personally”, 4.1% of those questioned place immigration in fifth position, behind housing (15.3%), problems related to employment (16 .5%), health (17.1%) and the economic crisis (30.2%).

Meanwhile, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruled that immigrant women who arrive in a European Union country can be granted refugee status if they are shown to implement “gender equality”. Furthermore, they must prove that if they returned to their country, they would be persecuted for adhering to these types of ideas.

The European Court considers that, to grant refugee status to an immigrant, he must first be part of a “certain social group”, and that membership in this group constitutes a “ground for persecution” in its country of origin, because as indicated in the sentence to which OKDIARIO had access.
