Government says kings ignored their request not to go to Paiporta to avoid organized protests

The government has avoided commenting on the serious incidents recorded this morning in the Valencian town of Paiporta, where residents scolded and threw mud at the official delegation in which were King Felipe VI and Letizia, President Pedro Sánchez and the head of the Consell, Carlos Mazón. .

However, unofficial Moncloa sources consulted by EL ESPAÑOL indicate that this visit should never have taken place.

The government tried to get the kings to visit only the crisis monitoring center set up in Valencia, but not the areas most affected by DANA, where organized far-right movements have been detected.

From the start of the incidents, Pedro Sánchez left the official delegation after a neighbor threw a stick at his back, which never hit him.

It was then that his security team urged the President of the Government to leave the premises, while King Felipe VI and Letizia continued walking and chatting among neighbors, in a moment of maximum tension.

Official Moncloa sources confirmed that the president left the delegation when the security protocol was activated due to the attacks against him.

The security services then decided to transfer the director general to the forward command post located in Valencia. However, both Pedro Sánchez and the rest of his team are doing well, the same sources indicate.

This morning there were minutes of high tension in Paiporta, where many residents took advantage of the visit of the kings, President Pedro Sánchez and the head of the Consell, Carlos Mazón, to express their indignation at the lack of aid facing floods.

Despite the high tension, the kings, with their clothes and faces stained with mud, advanced into one of the main streets of this municipality and tried to calm things down, as reported by EL ESPAÑOL.
