American rock band Green Day had a concert in Detroit interrupted by a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), The Detroit News reported.
According to police, a local resident flew a drone over Comerica Park, where a concert was taking place at the time. The group disrupted the performance.
The drone’s owner was questioned by law enforcement but was not arrested or fined. The Green Day concert resumed 10 minutes after the incident.
The team felt it necessary to apologize to fans for this incident on its social media account.

The band also announced a tour with a new album next fall. The updated lineup includes a vocalist.
