Guitarist Tito Jackson, older brother of the “King of Pop” and member of the Jackson 5, has died

Guitarist and singer Titus Jacksonone of the members of the group The Jackson 5, formed by five brothers from Gary, Indiana, including the King of Pop, Michael Jacksondied at the age of 70, as reported by his three children.

Tito formed with his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael (died in 2009) the famous group The Jackson 5, which had Motown as its first label (1969-1975) and was one of the most popular groups of his time.

Tito was the third of 10 children in the Jackson family.

He had recently performed with his brothers Marlon and Jackie in England and participated in the Fool in Love festival in Hollywood Park, California, in late August.

Tito has also recorded and performed extensively as a blues guitarist over the past 20 years, both under his own label and with the BB King blues band.
