“I am very happy that global climate debates are being organized in Baku. It is the second week that Azerbaijan successfully organizes a major summit like COP29. The attention of the world community is focused on this event. These words Oku.AzChairman of the Civil Society Affairs Committee under the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, which participated in the COP29 climate conference held in our country, in his statement Gulbara Sultanova saying.

He also referred to the objectives of the joint NGO forum of the member countries of the Organization of Turkish States organized in the Green Zone:

“At the same time, our main topic is the climate agenda of Turkish-speaking countries. Of course, the ecological change that occurs in one country also affects other countries. We continue to exist in a single ecosystem. For this reason, we hold conversations about joint projects and evaluate proposals on ways to implement them.” .

Gulbara Sultanova also reported on the joint project carried out by volunteers from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan:

“For example, last year, thanks to a joint initiative of volunteers from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, up to 50 kilometers of the Caspian Sea coast were cleaned of household waste. I believe that similar initiatives have a positive effect on protecting the ecological environment “
