At the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), a panel on the role of women in resolving climate crises was held in the Turkish pavilion.

The report by the Turkish TV channel in Baku states that the panel was organized by the “Roots Women’s Initiative.”
“Many women fight against climate change. Being a woman means being a leader in the true sense. A woman not only protects her family, but also protects the environment. Women promote and expand the environment, economy and development “Women also participate in the fight against climate change. transformation in the fight against climate change”, – is highlighted in the plot.
It should be noted that COP29 held in Azerbaijan is the most important meeting that emphasizes the importance of women in climate change.
