The first week of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan is about to come to an end. Climate finance was the main topic of meetings during the week.
Oku.Az reports that this was reported in an extensive report prepared by the Turkish television channel “Haber Global” about the event.
Bünyamin Sürmeli, meteorology editor of “Haber Global”, who spoke live about what happened in Baku, stated that according to the general opinion of the participants in COP29, it is time to take more active measures in the fight against climate change.
In his words, the important decisions that will be made in Baku will soon be on the agenda of world leaders at the G20 summit to be held in Brazil.
